We are from the Island of Malta and though we are as so close to the Island of Sicily we have never been to Sicily.
But recently we have decided to have a 5 days holiday to Sicily.
So we booked to visit Sicily from the 21st.to the 25th.August.We are staying in Catania from where we will be able to take our planned day outs,to TAORMINA-SIRAGUSA/ORTIGIA and ETNA Ect Ect
Recently i have started by searching to get to know Sicily Better.
That’s how i came across with your interesting website.
I am sure that by August i will learn much more about the Island of Sicily to helps us have a great holiday.

I took great delight in reading this sicilian site of yours carmelina .Having just visited sicily myself two years ago ,has left me with a burning desire to go back .My father was a proud sicilian ,from the town riposto-giarre ,located between catania and toarmina. I have great memories of sicily as a child, we lived there for three years.When i went back i thought great i was sure i would be over the desire to travel there again , but i was wrong . I fill more driven and compelled to recount a way to honer what is truly my heritage.Sara
